Who We Are
As a newly formed advisory group to the IT Steering Committee comprised of clinical, technology and policy subject matter experts, we are here to address the growing demand for mobile health (mHealth) solutions at UCLA.
The scope of governance for this group is limited to mobile device and applications use within healthcare, medical education and patient related research at UCLA. We provide guidance and strategic support for operationalizing mHealth use by:

UCLA providers, staff, and medical students

Patients receiving care by UCLA's hospitals and clinics

UCLA patients participating in research projects
We currently do not provide the following services:
What We Do
We meet regularly as a group and in subgroups to:

Track, review and collectively understand current and future mHealth project needs at UCLA

Identify mHealth project risks, barriers, critical path items and facilitate any escalations needed

Discuss any key decisions or prioritizations needed

Discuss UCLA's future strategic mHealth priorities

Identify and escalate business needs for mHealth IT solutions

Establish rules of the road, policy and guidelines as needed for new, emerging domains of mHealth
