Video visits provide a secure way for doctors to connect with their patients, when appropriate, without the hassle of them having to driving into the office, hospital or clinic. All you need is an internet connection and access to a device with video and audio capabilities, such as a computer, tablet or smartphone. You can have a real-time, face-to-face discussion with your patients just as you would during an office visit.

Given the recent COVID-19 pandemic, many providers are interested in offering scheduled outpatient video visits. For those UCLA providers that have received approval from their clinical leadership to start using video visits, please follow the instructions below.
Step 1: (REQUIRED) Complete the following self-study eLearnings. Note: If you are accessing these trainings while off the Mednet network, you will need to log into VPN or use your Mednet Username and password to log into the VPN Web Portal and access the Video Visits Onboarding Tile which will bring you back to the onboarding survey where you should be able to access the trainings:
Step 2: (REQUIRED) Complete the onboarding registration survey. Note: During the survey process you will have the opportunity to sign up for an optional* 1:1 training/test session. A member of our team will get back to you to schedule this as training resources permit.
Step 3: (RECOMMENDED) Attend a video visit training webinar.
